Q. What’s one thing on your bucket list that you’re determined to accomplish?
A. I am determined to eventually travel to every continent!
Q. What’s a challenge you took on that ended up being one of the most rewarding experiences of your life?
A. Becoming a Mom has been by far the most challenging and rewarding experience! Parenting is an everyday learning experience, but I wouldn’t trade those random hugs and hilarious conversations for anything 😊
Q. What’s an unexpected passion or interest you’ve discovered recently?
A. I recently discovered that putting together LEGO models is very relaxing. This has become one of my new hobbies—I am working on the LEGO Speed collection.
Q. If time and money weren’t a factor, what hobby or skill would you dive into?
A. I would love to do anything crafty. I like to make t-shirts and bracelets, so anything in that area of creativity would be perfect for me!
Q. What’s your go-to way to unwind after a long day?
A. Wrapping up in a blanket and watching a funny show or movie.
Q. What’s a small, everyday thing that brings you a lot of joy?
A. My house plants! I have lost count of how many I have now, but watching them grow over time brings me so much joy.
Q. What’s your most-used emoji, and does it say something about your personality?
A. “Face with tears of joy” AKA the crying laughing emoji. I love to laugh and find the joy in life.
Q. What’s a book, show, or movie that had a big impact on you?
A. The book that has had the biggest impact on me is The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. After reading this book, my mind really opened to the idea of redirecting my energy and thoughts to improve the outcome of really anything. It’s a great book, I highly recommend it!
Q. What’s a song or artist that you always go back to, no matter what?
A. Lauryn Hill and her album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill—it never gets old.
Q. What’s a quote from a book, movie, or song that you live by?
A. I’m not sure if this is from a book, movie, or song, but the saying I live by is: “A failure to plan is a plan to fail.”
Q. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A. I think I could eat Mexican food every single day. But if I had to choose one specific meal for the rest of my life, maybe Spaghetti.
Q. What’s your ultimate comfort food?
A. Any type of pasta. Chicken Alfredo is always a good one. Also, blueberry streusel muffins 😊
Q. If you could open a restaurant or café, what would its theme or specialty be?
A. I would open a coffee/tea shop that has a small library and plays good music, like R&B-themed. It would be somewhere that people can hang out and maybe get work done if they need to.
Q. If you could give your younger self career advice, what would it be?
A. Relax and go with the flow. Remember that you are where you need to be, and everything you are doing will eventually come full circle.
Q. If you could create your ideal work environment, what would it look like?
A. Nothing beats being at home!
