A. Backpack across Europe in my college days

A. Travel to Antarctica

Q. If you could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go and why?

A. New Zealand. I love action sports and being outside

Q. If time and money weren’t a factor, what hobby or skill would you dive into?

A. Intricate woodworking.

Q. What’s your go-to way to unwind after a long day?

A. Mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking or doing absolutely nothing in complete solitude

A. Snowboarding

Q. What’s one thing you’ve built, made, or created that you’re proud of?

A. A built-in murphy bed

A. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Q. What’s a small, everyday thing that brings you a lot of joy?

A. My kids. Even when they’re throwing tantrums, I know I’m going to miss it all one day

A. I was a science teacher for 8 years

A. Ted Lasso

Q. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A. Medium rare smoked steak

Q. What’s the best meal you’ve ever had, and what made it so memorable?

A. 45-day dry aged steak. It was at a restaurant in downtown Chicago. The steak was incredible and even though I’d visited areas around Chicago, I had never been downtown. It was a great experience all around.

Q. What’s your ultimate comfort food?

A. A patty melt from Whataburger

Q. What’s one piece of career advice that has really stuck with you?

A. Allow yourself to fail and learn, at least with the little things
